Thursday July l4th,1927.
The Board of Public Works of the City of' Richmond, Indiana,met
in regular session at the office of said Board Thursday July 14th
1927, at 9 o 'clock A. M. Messrs, McFall and Henley being present .
Absent, Mr. Land. Two members of said Board being present. The
following proceedings were had, to-wit :
Permission was granted E. D. Wickes, to cut the curb on south side
of Southwest "A" Street at Out-Lot 3-Pt. Ind.Yearly Meeting of
Friends Out-lots.
The Board approved a primary assessment roll for improvement of
alley, under Improvement Resolution No. 83 --1927.
The Board received letter from the Mayor, written to him by the
City Plan Commission, recommending the widening of Ft-Wayne Ave.
from Main to North " C" Street, placed on file.
John F. Hipskind, contractor was granted contractor certificate
#43, in sum of $2020.87 under Improvement Resolution No.819-1927. •
W.Glen Hamilton, was granted an option to purchase old fire sta-
tion at NW.corner of North 8th & "D" Street, for a period of
30 days from date, at price of $8,000.00-.
Claims in amount of $1 , 521.42 were allowed.
