The Board of Puolic WOrks of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in -re ule"r session at the office of said Board Monday June 20t1'! 1927, at 9 o ' clock A. L._ All the members of said Board, 1,fessrs, Land, moFail and Henley being present . The following proceedings were had, to-wit :- II The Board met t0 hear remonstrances if any of persons, whose nr'oper'ty is assessed under Improvement Resolution No. 7'5-192 , for the iiii- - Qrove__lent of South 15th Street , by paving the roadway with surface �_ planting ns �w ., gutter treated macadam, trees, constructing..tli2€;' cement curb & •"u� � r J and repairing sidewalks on both sides where needed, from South "E" to "G" Street . No one apnear'ing or remonstrating. The Board anproved a final assessment roll for said improvement , confirming the origi- nal assessment roll as heretofore 'approved. And now direct the same be forthwith transmitted t0 the Department of Finance. The Board met to hear remonstrance, if any of persons whose property is assessed under Improvement Resolution No . 'CO-1926, - for the iin- -'r provement of South 1L-L!1 Street, 1�. �, by �olns�_i:u.cti_a� cement curb �- gut- ter, repairing sidewalks, planting trees on both sides of street & paving said street with surface treated macadam, from South "E" to 11 G" Street . No one appearing or remonstrating. The Board approved a final assessment roll for said improvement, confirming the Or nal assessment roll as heretofor'e .appr'oved. And now direct the sane be forthwith transmitted to the Department of Finance. The Board received bids, for the improvement of the alley between Hunt & Ridge Street , by constructing cement roadway, fr0m Maple Street south to the first alley north of Linden Avenue, under I;ii- • provement Resolution No. g3)--1927, as follows to-wit : " Daniel C . Burkhardt, beini the lowest received and being within the estimate of the city civil engineer, the contract was s0 awarded. The Board received bids, under Improvement Resolution No . 35-l92(, for the improvement the Peacock Road, by constructing cement curb & gutter 1 foot wide, cement sidewalk o' foot wide on both sides of street, and grading and paving the roadway with concrete where the same is not paved, from Northwest 8th t0 9th Street , as follows, to-wit : " J . Hess, Sup tt of Light Plant, in reporting in matter oStreet, t 1' Arc Ll�i1t in Parry �t, 'e� t,, stated that thereis no question but what Parry Street, should have tv,o arc lights, but due to changes being made in this Vicinity because of the erection of new south eid school, it seems advisable to delay the instal- lation of these arcs . The Board approve the above recOmmendatiOn. i Claims in amount of ti l i-, O55 90 were allowed.
