The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the office of said Board Monday April 25th, 1927, at 9 o ' clock A. M. All the members :.of said Board, Messrs, Land, McFail and Henley, being present the following proceedings were had, to-wit : Pursuant to continuance to this date, the Board Teets to hear all persons interested or whose property is affected under Declaratory Resolution No. 206-1927, for the widening of Fort Wayne Ave. , from North 5th Street intersections with said Avenue to North " C" Street, after hearing all persons interested who {.ppeard. The Board on motion rescind said resolution. The Board met to hear all persons interested or whose property is affected under Declaratory Resolution No . 207-1927, for the widen- - ing of th-e alley to a width of 15. 50 ' between North 7th & 8th Street from North "C" to "Do Street, No one remonstrating. The Board being fully advised in the premises, takes action on said resolution con- • firming all former act ions taken on the same. And the Board now orders that a list or roll be prepared of all owners or holders of property • and of valuable interests therein, sought to be taken or to be injuri- ously affected, which list Or roll shall also describe the property beneficially affected. The Board unanimously adopted Improvement Resolution No. 8 3-1927, for- the improvement of South 22nd Street ; By constructing cement sidewalk 5' wide, cement curb & gutter., parkway curbs, grading and paving the roadway with one of the following kinds of modern city pavements, to-wit : Bituminous Macadam; Sheet Asphalt, Rock Asphalt or Re-inforced Concrete, from South "B" Street to eeveston Road. . Also the planting of trees on both sides of said street . The Board grant permission to Alvin M. Fox to cut the curb for drive- way on west side of South 19th Street at Lot 116, Reeveston, Add. , The Street Cownissioner was directed to place 15" tle to extend the drainage from South .9th Street at Lot No. 37, Beallview, Add. , . The Clerk was directed to request contractors, Messrs, J.F.Hipskind, E. A. Mari ani and J . L. Teegarden, to submit bids Monday May end, . to change the channel of the river under the North 12th Street bridge. The Clerk was directed to request the City Attorney to investigate & report as to the water rights at the old mill race crossing North 12th Street . Street Commissioner was instructed to place no dumping signs along Peacock Road at City Park ground. Claims in amount of '$8370.07 were allowed. The Board then adjourned, Attest : Pret . of Board.
