City of Richmond, Indiana,
Thursday March 10th, 1927.
The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met
in regular session at the office of said Board Thursday March
10th,' 1927, at 9 o 'clock A. M. All the members 'of said Board be-
ing present . The following proceedings were had, to-wit :
Permission was granted Howard Elliott, to cut the curb for drive-
way on south side of South " E" Street, bet . 14 th & 15th .S treet
at Lot No: 53, Brown, Addition.

The Engineer was directed to investigate & report as to construct--
ing inlet on north side of Richmond Ave. & NW.2nd Street .
The Engineer was. directed to investigate & report together with
estimate on cost to city, in matter of relni' wing conditions at
South "E" & 23rd Street, account of Storm 'water;
The Engineer was instructed to prepare. a tentative aseesstent
r011 of benefits & damages in matter of widening Ft-Wayne Ave .
from North "A" to North 6th Street
A petition together with remonstrance was filed, for the improve-
ment of the alley between South 6th & 7th Street, from South"B" •
to " C" Street, same was referred to City Engineer for plans, etc . ,
The Board directed Engineering Department , to prepare plans and
resolution for opening an alley between South 5th & 6th Street ;
from South " A" Street , north to the 2nd 'alley south of Main Street .
The Board directed D . C .Hess, Sup ' t . , of Light Plant., to install
light at corner of Main & 8th Street , lettered "No Left Turns) .
City Attorney ihstructed in preparing ordinance to remove all
obstructions from sidewalks in Main Street, to submit the same
to the Board of Public Works before the same is presented to
• Council.

Hedge on south sine of National Road at West 16th Street , that
-Board may know whether the same can be ordered removed.
Claims in amount of a16, 520. 65 were allowed .
