The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met
in regular session .at the office of said Board Monday February
21st, 1927, at 9 o 'clock A. M. All. the members of said Board
Messrs, Land, McFail and Henley, being present . The following
. Proceedings were 'had, to-;grit ;-
A petition for improvement of Maple Street, by constructing cement
curb & gutter on both sides of street and grading and paving the
.:....- .
roadway with surface treated macadam, from Ridge Street to the
G. R. & I . Railroad, was received. The Board after viewing said
Street, directed the clerk to request the resident property owners
to meet with said Board Monday February 28th, 1927 at 9. o 'clock
. A.M. for conference on said improvement. .
p . A petition was presented, for the improvement of alley between Nord
6th & 7th Street, by constructing cement roadway from North "A"
to "C" Street, referred to Engineer for plans etc . ,
The Board unanimously adopted Improvement Resolution No. 821-1927,
for improvement, of Ridge Street, by constructing cement curb & gu --
ter on both sides and paving the roadway with one of the following
kinds of modern city pavements, to-wit.: Sheet Asphalt, Rock Asphalt,
Concrete or Brick, from Grant to School Street .
The Board unanimously adopted Improvement Resolution No. 822--1927,
. .for the improvement of the alley between South 5th & IO"th Street
. by constructing cement roadway the full width thereof, from. South
"B" to " C" Street .
The Clerk was directed to request Messrs, L. C .Peacock, R.H.Koehring,
J .L.Teegarden, Lee Ridgeway and Z. B . Pyle, to meet with said
Board Thursday next February 24th, 1927, at 10 o ' clock A. M.
Claims in amount of $3905.89. were allowed.
