M. All :the members • of said Board, Messrs, Land, MicFail and Henley being present the following proceedings were had, to-wit :- A petition for improving Ridge Street, by constructing cement curb & gutter on both sides & paving the roadway, from Grant to School Street, was received and referred to engineer for investigation & plans, etc. , A petition for improvement of the alley between South. 9th & 10th Street , by constructing cement roadway from South "B" to " C" Street was received and referred to engineer for plans . Complaint from Chas. Johanning was received, as to city dumping ashes in alley between South 5th & 6th Street at South "M" St . referred to Street Commissioner. • • Wm. Bockhoff, appeared before the Board .requestirlg that gravel . be place in the holes in South "N" Street, referred to Street Commissioner, with orders to place gravel. The Clerk was directed to _notify 1+ulghum _to' cut the hedge at _his place on National Road at West 16th Street. • The Board unanimously adopted Improvement Resolution No. 819 1927, for improvement of Southwest 10th Street, by cement -sidewalks curb & gutter moth sides & grading & paving roadway with tarvia macadam, from Main Street to National Road. The Board unanimously adopted Improvement Resolution NO. 820-1927 for improvement of Boyer Street, by constructing cement sidewalks . curb & gutters on both sides and grading & paving roadway with gravel & maca.daM, from School to Stevens Street. The Clerk was directed to write W.F.Graves,,C hef Engineer of T .H. I . & E.Traction Co. , as to removing switch in national Road between 3rd & 5th Street . The Board received bids under Improvement Resolution No . 814-1926. for improvement of Grant Street, by constructing 11-1 f t . walks, curb & gutter on both sides of street , & graveling roadway, from Bridge Ave, to Ridge Street, as follows to-wit " Lee Ridgeway, •bid; Cement walk 11-2ft . wide :y0.94 linear foot Straight curb & gutter 1. 24 ° " Circle curb & gutter 1. 60 Cement roadway intersections 0.30 square foot Gravel 8" deep rolled in place 1. 60 cubic yard • Re-setting inlets 11-.00 each 12 P sewer pipe connections in place 2.00 linear foot Thursday February 17th, 1927. Payrolls' to February 16th, 1927, were allowed; Claims in amount of $7417. 60 were allowed.
