City of Richmond, Indiana,
Monday January 17th, 1927.
The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met
in regular session at the office of said Board Monday January 17th
1927, at 9 o 'clock A. M. All the members of said Board, Messrs,
Land, McFail and Henley being present. 'The following. proceedings .
were had, to-wit :
The City Civil Engineer presented a corAllunication recommending
the annexation of additional territory to the City, also, for a
survey of territory to the east, south & west by outside civil
engineers for sewage and plans therefore, in said territories.
The Board ordered a 6" water main laid in Northwest 6th Street, from
Pearl Street to the Peacock Road.
J. Edward Higgs, Building Inspector, submitted his annual report
• for 1926, showing number of building permits issued--1096, Fees
collected for building, wiring & heating permits in stun-0165.08;
estimated cost -new work- 1, 042, 057.00; remodel & repair-: 310, 736.15
or a total of, $1, 352, 793. 15; Insuections6 2616. together with an
itemized report of the various kinds of buildings erected, remod-
eled and repaired. (Ordered placed on file)
The Board approved the various payrolls up to January 16th, 1927.
