PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION
November 6 , 1984
In accordance with the Warrant the inhabitants of Brewster qualified to vote
in the Presidential Election met at the Brewster Community Center , Tuesday ,
November 6 , 1984 .
The polls were declared open at 7 : 00 A . M . The election workers duly sworn
in were : Dorothy Grenier , Warden , June Gallant , Deputy Warden , J . Ogden
Tyldsley , Clerk , Doris Powell , Deputy Clerk and Janice MacMillian , Ruth Hanlon ,
Harry Olson , Mae Olson , Edward Sabatini , Alfred Robinson , Edwin Blease ,
Mary Kuhlmann , Dorothy Pendergast , John Clarke , Helen Brandon , Virginia
Goode , Mildred Magee , Kitty Lou Campbell , Violet Bishop, Tellers .
The polls closed at 8 : 00 P . M .
The total number of votes cast were 3 ,678 .
