ANNUAL TOWN ELECTION
May 16, 1983
In accordance with the warrant the inhabitants of Brewster qualified to vote in
the Annual Town Election met at the Community Center, Monday , May 16 ,
1983 .
The polls were declared open at 8 : 00 a .m . The election workers duly sworn in
were Dorothy Grenier, Warden ; June Gallant, Deputy Warden ; J . Ogden
Tyldsley , Jr . , Clerk ; Doris Powell , Deputy Clerk ; Gladys Curtis , Beryl Dexter,
Robert Thomas , Phyllis Hanson , Mae Olson , Edwin J . Blease , Filbert Alford ,
Violet Bishop , Mildred Magee , Edward Sabatini , John Clarke, Dorothy Pender-
gast , Ruth A . Hanlon , Kitty Lou Campbell , Janice MacMillan , Mary Rita
Schmidt, Ruth Dunning , William Goode , Rose Mary Krikorian and Althea
Ailing , as Tellers .
The polls were closed at 8 : 00 p .m .
The total number of votes cast was 1793 .
