To Roland W . Bassett , Constable of the Town of Brewster
Greetings :
.In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts you are hereby
directed to notify and warn the inhabitants of Brewster qualified to vote
in Town affairs to meet at the Brewster School on Monday evening , December
15 , 1969 at 7 : 30 F . M. , then and there to act upon the following articles :
ARTICLE 1 . To see if the Town will vote to transfer the sum of Seven
Hundred Dollars ( $700 . 00 ) from free cash to the Law account .
ARTICLE 2 . To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Selectmen to
purchase , take by eminent domain, or otherwise acquire the land shown on
plan entitled " Plan Showing Marsh at Quivet Creek in Brewster , Yass . as
Surveyed for the Brewster Conservation Commission , Scale 1 " = 100r ,
March , 1969 Nickerson & Berger , Civil, Engineers , Eastham & Chatham, Mass . "
for conservation purposes , excepting herefrom an easement as shown on
said Plan over Parcel 6 , said easement for the purpose of laying , re-
laying , installing and maintaining pipes and other facilities necessary to
supply water to the aquarium operating on the upland abutting Parcel 6 , said
easement to terminate upon expiration of the aquarium operation ; and raise
and appropriate a sum of money for such purpose and to determine whether
such appropriation shall be raised by taxation , by transfer of available
funds , by borrm iig o*r otherwise aro take any action relative thereto ; and
to authorize and direct the Brewster Conservation Commission to enter into
any agreements it deems advantageous on behalf of the town with the Common-
wealth of IWiassachusetts and/or the United States of America for partial
reimbursement of the cost of the land .
ARTICLE 3 . To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Selectmen to

entitled "Plan Showing Skaket Creels in Brewster , Mass . as Surveyed for the
Brewster Conservation Commission , Scale 111 = 100 ' March , 1969 Nickerson &
Berger , Civil Engineers , Eastham & Chatham, Mass . " for conservation
purposes ; and raise and appropriate a sum of money for such purpose and to
determine whether such appropriation shall be raised by taxation , by trans -
fer of available funds , by borrowing or otherwise and tape any action relative
thereto ; and to authorize and direct the Brewster Conservation Commission to
enter into any agreements it deems advantageous on behalf of the Town with
the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and/or the United States of America for
partial reimbursement of the cost of the land .
ARTICLE 4 . To see if the Town will vote to appropriate the sum of Three
Thousand Five Hundred ( $3 , 500 , 00 ) dollars for legal fees in connection with
the acquisition of salt marshes .
ARTICLE 5 . To see if the Town will vote to install and maintain a street
light at the junction of Point of Rocks Road and Dennison Road on pole

ARTICLE 6 . To act on any other business that may legally come before said
meeting .
And you are directed to serve this Warrant by posting attested copies
thereof in at least five public places in different parts of the Town seven
days at least before the time of holding said meeting .
Hereof fail not , and make due returns of this Warrant with your
doings thereon to the Town Clerk at the time and place of meeting , as
aforesaid .
