Thursday January 6th, 1927.
The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met
in regular session at the office of said Board Thursday January
6th, 1927, at 9 o 'cllck A. M. Messrs, Land and Henley being
present, Absent, Mr. McFail, Two members of Said Board being
present . The following proceedings were had, to-wit :
The Board met to hear all persons interested or whose property
is affected under Declaratory Resolution No. 201-1926, for the
vacation of South 8th Street from 1°P11 to end. of 8th Street ;
South 6th Street from " 0" to t1Q11 Street; also, Oakland Street
from South " 0" to "Q11 Street . after hearing_ all persons inter-
. ested who appeared, the Board continue hearing on said resolu-
tion .to Monday January 10th, 1927.
The Board met to hear all persons whose property is primarily
assessed under Improvement Resolution No. 764-1925, for furnish-
ing & planting trees in Reeveston -Road, from' South l8th to 23rd•
Street . No one appearing or. remonstrating. The Board takes final •
action and approve a final assessment roll confirming the origi-
nal assessment roll heretofore approved, and now direct the Same
be transmitted forthwith to the Department of Finance.
The Board met to hear all persons whose property is primarily
assessed under Improvement Resolution No. 811-1926, for the con-
struction of a sanitary sewer in the alley between Hunt & Ratliff •
Street, from School to Stevens Street . No one appearing or remon-
strating, the Board approved a' final assessment roll confirming •
the original assessment roll as heretofre approved, and now direct
the same be forthwith transmitted -to the Department of Finance .
The Clerk reported, the following lights requested by Messrs,
O 'Neal, Schlagle & Hodgin, at last council meeting, viz:.
Arcs, at South "E" & 22nd Sts, Center & West 5th Street, and
alley in rear of No. 3 hose house, The Arc Lights requested were
- referred to Sup 't . , Hess, and the Clerk directed to "request the
City Plan Commission to declare territory between 15th & 17th
Street and the alley 1st north & south of Main Street as a con-
, gested district.
