The Board of, Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met
in regular .-session at the office of said Board, Monday December
27th, 1926, at 9 :To 'clock A. M. The following members of said Board
being present, Messrs, McFail and Henley, Absent. Mr. Land; Two
members being present. The - following proceedings were had, towit :
Pursuant to notice given, Messrs, Adolph Hess, Sup 't . , of Fibre
Conduit Co. , Charles Sell, property owner and Wilfred. Jessup, atty.
for Mrs. Carman and others, met. with' the Board as to the advisabilit]
I/ • of opening Northwest llth Street, from Peacock Road to what would
be Richmond Avenue if extended west from 8th Street . Afte some
te.discussion in the matter it was deemed by those present, o open
Richmond Avenue to the proposed Northwest llth Street and North-
west llth Street from Peacock Road to Richmond Avenue. The City
Engineer was instructed to prepare plat of the proposed openings
as suggested by Mr. Jessup, and call for a conference of the dif-
_ ferent property owners interested. Mr. Jessup, stated he had no
authority to make any agreement of any kind in the matter, but
would use his best endeavors to have his clients to agree to said
openings.
