. Thursday December 9th, 1926.
The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met
in regular session at the office of said Board Thursday December
- 9th, 1926, at 9 o 'clock A. M. All the members of said Board,Ifiessrs,
Land, McFail and Henley being present. The 'following proceedings
were had, to-wit.:
1/ • - The following proposals for excavating at Glen Miller Park, for
roadway were received as follows, to-wit :
" E. A. Mariani, bid;
To furnish--excavator ® $35.00 per day including Oil,Gasoline and
Operator etc. , or will load the dirt for 0.200 per cu-yard.
-" John F. Hipskind, bid; •
Furnish steam shovel with operator assume all repairs & upkeep for
$29.00 per day, city .furnish fireman $5.00, Coal $6.00 and 011. 500
per day, making a cost of $40.50
" W. B. Kellam, bid; -
Will furnish steam shovel and as many trucks necessary to keep
shovel busy @ $0.75¢. per -yard-
" Paul Teegarden, bid:
Shovel with operator subject. to breaks $40.00 per day, or will
place dirt or .gravel on trucks ® $0.200 per yard, no other expense
to city.
The Board hold said proposals for future reference. . •
'.The Board approve bill to M.C.Henley $5525.00 final payment on-
land purchased for. Glen Miller Park, and order the Clerk to have
Deed Recorded. '
