Thursday December 2nd, 1926. _
The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met
in regular session at the office of said Board Thursday December
2nd, 1926; at 9 o 'cllck A.M. All the members of said Board, Messrs,
Land, McFail and Henley being present . Th'e following proceedings
were had, to-wit :The Board unanimously adopted Improvement Resolution No. 817-1926 .
for the grading of Northwest 6th Street to the sub-grade of a
proposed street when constructed, from Pearl_ to Peacock Road.
The Board received bids Tinder Improvement Resolution No. 816-1926,
for construction of sanitary sewer between South llth & 12th Street
from South " I" to, "J" Street'; also, 140 feet east & west of propos-
ed sewer. on .south side of South" I"` Street, as follows, to-wit :
" E. A. Maria.ni, bid;

Sewer complete $2.95 per tin-foot .
" John F. Hipskind, bid;
Sewer complete $3. 75 per lin-foot . --
The bid of E.A.Mariani, being the lowest and being within the.
estimate as reported by the City Civil Engineer, the contract was '
awarded to said E. A. Mariani.

The Clerk was directed to request Mr. W. Whiteley to make report
as to lot at Kinsey & West 1st Street-, by Monday's meeting.
The Board granted permission to the Womens Garden Club, to plant
trees 3 in number at various points in City, under the direction

. - of the City Civil Engineer.
. The Board signed contract with the General Electric Company, for
Meters for M-.E.L.&- P-.P. during year ending Dec. 1st, 1927.
The Clerk was directed- to notify the Ohio Traffic Post Co. , to F..
remove their posts from the City by December 20th, 1926. - << ?`
The Clerk was - directed to notify City Attorney Kelley, and. request
him for report in matter of widening of North "A" Street between
North 5th & 7th• Streets.

Sup 't. Hess of Light Plant, submitted the figures covering the .
amounts necessary for Light Plant 1927 budget, same was approved and Clerk instructed to prepare an ordinance covering the same
and present it to the Common Council for action thereon.
Payrolls were approved to December 1st, 1926.
