The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana., met in regular session at the office of said Board Monday November 29th, „1926, at 5 o ' clock A. M. Messrs, McFail and Henley being present ; Mr. Land, being absent ; Tw'o ._nembers of said Board being present. The following proceedings were had, to-wit :- . The Board met Co hear all persons whose property is nri.larily assess- : ' . . . ed under Improvement Resolution No. 807-1926, for the construction of 11 Sanitary sewer in the alley between South with & 9th Street , from South "M" Street to Right-of-way of the C. & O. R.R. No one appear- ing or remonstrating. Ellis as auctioneer, to sell the old hose house at North 8th & "D" Street Wednesday Dece,ber 1st, 1926, 2 P.M. for not less than_ the appraised value as fixed by_ appraisers. . The Board approved the contract & bond of George Kircher, for gather- ing & disposing of the garbage froju the bi"n_s at Crematory. • • The Board accept' the dedication of ground from Standard Oil Company being_ a part of Lot # 5, E. & J. Railsbacks, Addition, situate at corner of Richmond Ave. & Sheridan Street, for street purposes . The Board grant permission to Grace D. Gise to cut the curb for drive- way on west side of East Haven Ave, Lot No. 7, 3enhams, Addition. The Board directed the Clerk to advertise for bids, for 10000 K.W. Turbo-Generator and equipment for M.E. L.&, P..P . : Dec, 20 , 1926. Upon the recommendation of Fire Chief E.E.Miller, the board award contract to 'Brinker & Shendler for "Willys Knight Model 66 touring car" , including all equipment, at price submitted in bid therefore on November 22, 1926, i. e. 18 0. 00 less for old Davis Auto. used by chief, or net price of 0.40d.0O, including spare tire and other equipment, $1465.00, delivered to Richmond. The Street Com.:lissioner was directed to investigate, to ether with City Engineer, flush tanks not operating, and tanks not necessary and have meters removed.
