Monday November 8th, 1926.
The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met
in regular session at the office of said Board Monday November8th, 1926, at 9 o ' clock A. M. All the Members of said Board,
Messrs, Land, McFall and Henley, being present . The following
proceedings were had, to-wit : -.
The' Board met to hear all persons interested or whose property is
• primarily assessed under. Improvement Resolution No, 815-1926, for
n, improvement of the- alley between South 14th & 15th Street,by
constructing cement roadway, from South "B" to " 0" Street . After

hearing all persons interested who appeared. The Board approved
a final assessment roll, confirming in all things the original
assessment roll heretofore approved, and now direct the same be
transmitted forthwith to the Department of Finance .
The City Civil Engineer reported the completion of contract under
Improvement Resolution No. 80 7-1926, for the construction of a
Sanitary Sewer in the alley between South. 8th & 9t1. Street, from
South " Ui" Street to the right-of-way of the C. & 0. Railroad.
The Board accepted the same, and approved primary assessment roll.
The Board met with George Taube, George Kircher and Jenkins Bros . ,
.in matter of garbage hauling & disposal contract . Mr-. Tube, desir-
ing to be relieved of said contract, MT. Kircher, stated he is wil-.
ling to assume and carry out the provisions of the contract, accord-
ing- to the city ' s specifications and the bid price of Mr. Taube,
this being satisfactory to the Board and Jenkins Bros . , the bonding
company. The Clerk was directed to prepare a transfer of the said
garbage hailing & disposal contract, from George Taube to George
Kircher beginnign as of date of November 29th, 1926, at price of
875.00 per year, to be paid monthly at rate of 472.91.
The Clerk was directed to advertise for bids for 5 passenger .touring
automobile, and'motoicycle for police department ; a.180, for touring
automobile, for Chief of Fire Department, advertising to request
amount allowed for taring in Pilot, &L__vis Automobiles, and Motorcycle
in .exchange as part payment .
Claim of Mrs. Georgia Chapman, account of poles & wire across her
farm in Sec. 10, Twsp.15, Rnge.l, ,and damages to trees in amount of
. $.100.00, was received and referred to M_.E.L.& P.P.
