City of Richmond, Indiana,
Thursday October 28th, 1926.
The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met
in regular session at the office of said Board, Thursday October
28th, 1926, at 9 o 'clock A. M. All the members of said Board,Messrs,
Land, McFail and Henley, being present. The following proceedings
were had, to-wit :-
1/ The Board granted permission to Elden H. Wilson, to cut the curb at
424 Northwest 5th Street, for driveway.
Permission was granted John W. Mueller, to cut the curb for driveway
at 13 3::outh 17th Street .
The Board approved the plans of R. Shiveley, for remodeling the build-
ing at Southeast corner of Main and South 9th Streets . •
The Board met to hear rem0nstrances if any and take final action on
Declaratory Resolution No. 200-1926, for the condemnation of a right
of way 20ft . in width, for the construction and maintenance of a .
Sanitary Sewer over and across a portion of Out-Lot 13, Cleavers Out-
Lots, also Lot No. 6 & 9, Almira +Jheelans, Addition, between South
llth & 12th Street, from South " I" to "J" Street. No one remonstrat-
ing against said condemnation, thereupon, the Board being duly ad-
vised in the matter take final action on said resolution, the same
being confirmed without modification, all former action heretofore
taken on same. And the Board now order a list or roll be prepared of
all owners or holders of property, and of valuable interests therein,
sought to be taken or to be injuriously affected, which list or
roll shall also describe the property beneficially affected
The Board met t0 hear all persons interested or whose property is
. affected under Improvement Resolution No. 816-1926, providing for
the construction of sanitary sewer between South llth & 12th Street
from South " I" to "J" . Street . No one appearing or remonstrating.
The Board decides that the benefits to the property affected are
equal to the cost of same as reported by the City Civil Engineer,
and thereupon take final action on said resolution. The same. being
confirmed without modification.
Claims in amount of y11, 763.38 were allowed & ordered paid.
The Board then adjourned,
