City of Richmond, Indiana,
Monday October llth, 1926.
The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met
in regular session at the office of said Board Monday October.
llth, 1926, at 9 o 'clock A. M. All the members of said Board
Messrs, Land, McFail and Henley being present. The following
proceedings were had, to-wit :
The Board met to hear all persons whose property is assessed
under Improvement Resolution No. 806-1926, for the improvement
• of the alley between North 10th & llth Street, by constructing
a cement roadway from North "B" .to "0" Street. No one appearing 11/
or remonstrating, the Board approved a final assessment roll,
confirming the original assessment roll heretofore approved,
and now direct the same be transmitted forthwith to the Depart-
mant of Finance.
The Board direct- the contractor Arthur Thomas, for the remodel-
ing of No. 5 hose house to erect steel ceiling in truck room
at additional price of 4150.00 less $50.00 as verbally agreed
to by him.
The Clark was directed to notify the various coal dealers, the
City would receive bids Thursday October 1 -th, 1926, for ±mmE
15 tons of West Va. lump coal delivered to Crematory bin.
The Clerk was directed to ask for bids from various concerns
for making and erecting a new steel stack at City Crematory
bids received Thursday October 14th, 10 o 'clock A. M.
The Board allowed claims in amount of S6851.28.
