City of Richmond, Indiana, • Thursday September 9th, 1926. • The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the office of said Board Thursday September 9th, 1926, at 9 o ' clock A. M. Al]. the _members of said Board, Messrs, Land, McFall and Henley being present , The following proceedings were had, to-wit : • The Board award contract to Mather Bros, COmpany, for furnishing coal as follows, to-wit :: _ 165 T.R.M. Pocahontas City Hall 42 & #5 hose houses G $5. 75 per ton. 40 T. Lump " 43 & #-- hose houses " 7.1t5 !' 11 50 T. R.M. " Glen Miller on track " 5. 15 U IT 15 T. W. V. Lump, Detention Hospital " 6.95 " " The Board awarded contract to Refiners Oil Co . , for Gasoline and Kerosene for year at 20, under tank wagon prices . The Board met to hear remonstrances if any, of persons whose property is assessed under Improvement Resolution No.805-1926, for construct- ing cement sidewalks on both sides of South " F" Street, from South 9th to 11th Street, No one remonstrating, the Board approved a final assessment roll confirming the original assessment roll heretofore approved, and now direct the same be forthwith transmitted to the Department of Finance . . . . . The Board met to hear remonstrances if any, of persons whose property is assessed under Improvement Resolution No. 809-192.6, fro improve- ment of alley between South 14th & 15th Street , by cement roadway from South "A" to "B" Street . No one remonstrating the Board approved a final assesment roll, confirming the original assessment roll as heretofore approved, and now direct the same be transmitted to the Department of Finance. The Board met to hear all persons interested or whose property is affected under Improvement Resolution No. 813-1926, for improvement of alley between South 14th & 15th Street, by constructing cement roadway, from South "B" to " C" Street . After hearing all persons in- terested who appeared. The Board decides that the benefits to the property liable to be assessed for said improvements are eoual to the cost of se.me as reported by the City Civil Engineer, and thereupon confirm the resolution without modification. The Board unanimously adopted Improvement Resolution No. 814-1926, for the improvement of Grant Street, by constructing cement sidewalks 4' wide, curb & gutter on both sides & graveling the street , from Bridge Avenue to Ridge Street .
