November 8, 1967
In accordance with the warrant the meeting was held in
the Brewster Town Ball on Wednesday evening, November
8 , 1967 .
The meeting was called to order at 7 : 30 1' . M . by Modera -
tor, Grant We Koch . A quorum was present and there was a
moment of silent prayer .
The return of the warrant was read by Town Clerk ,
Donald P . Consodine , with the exception of the articles
which were read as they were being considered for action .
ARTICLE 1 . To see if the Town will vote to appropriate
from free cash in the treasury, the sum of Three Thousand
Dollars ( $3 , 000 . 00 ) to be added to the account for Medical
Assistance .
Noted unanimously that the Town appropriate from free
cash in the treasury the sum of Three Thousand Dollars
($3 , 000 . 00 ) to be added to the account for Medical Assistance .
ARTICLE 2 . To see if the Town will vote. to appropriate
from free cash in the treasury, the sum of One Thousand
Dollars ( $ 1 , 000 . 00 ) to be added to the account for Aid Fam -
ilies Dependent Children .
Noted unanimously that the Town appropriate from free
cash in the treasury, ,the sum of One Thousand Dollars
( $ 1 , 000 . 00 ) to be added to the account for Aid Families De -
pendent Children ,
ARTICLE 3 . To see if the Town will vote to appropriate
from free cash in the treasury, the sum of twenty seven dollars
( $27 . 00 ) for an unpaid 1966 bill of the Veterans Account .
Voted unanimously that the Town appropriate from free
cash in the treasury, the sum of twenty seven dollars ( $27 . 00 )
for an unpaid 1966 bill of the Veterans Account . 4/5 vote
required .
ARTICLE 4 . To see if the Town will vote to appropriate
from free cash in the treasury , the sum of Two Hundred Two
Dollars and Two Cents ( $202 . 02 ) for an unpaid 1965 bill for
the Veterans Account .
Voted unanimously that the Town appropriate from free
cash in the treasury, the sum of Two Hundred Two Dollars
and Two Cents ( $202 . 02 ) for an unpaid 1965 bill for the
Veterans Account . 4/5 ' vote required .

ARTICLE 5 . To see if the Town will vote to authorize the
Board of Selectmen to contract with the District Nursing
Association of Barnstable , Yarmouth and Dennis , Inc . to
provide future nursing service' for ' the Town of Brewster and
appropriatefrom available funds in the treasury, the sum of
Twenty Five Hundred Dollars ( $2 ,500 . 00) to cover the cost of
same for the year 1968 .
Voted unanimously that the Town authorize the Board of
Selectmen to contract with the District Nursing Association of
Barnstable , Yarmouth and Dennis, Inc . to provide future
nursing service for the Town of Brewster and appropriate
from free cash in the treasury, the sum of Twenty Five
Hundred Dollars ( $2 ,500 . 00 ) ) to cover the cost of same for the
year 1968 .
There being no further business it was voted to adjourn
at 7 : 44 P . M .
