Thursday July 15th, 1926.
The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met
in regular session at the office of said Board Thursday July 15th
1926, at 9 o 'clock A. M. All the members of said Board, Messrs,
Land, McFall and Henley being present . The following proceedings
were had, to-wit :
I/ . ' . The Board authorized the Richmond City Water Works, to move the fire
hydrant at SW. corner of Richmond Ave, and 2nd Street , to the west
as - the same is to close to the street intersection. at expense of
Water Works.
The. Board directed the Richmond City Water Works to lay water main 6"
in Southwest "C" Street, from SW. 5th St . to College Avenue.
J. Gilbert was granted permission to construct a coping along side-
walk at 64 State Street.
The Board received bids for the remodeling of No. 5 Hose House as
follows, to-wit : •

For re-inforced floor construction add 825.00
including Surety Co. , bond.
" Arthur Thomas, bid;
General construction $8,800.00
Cement floor in apparatus room 525.00
H. E. W. Bendfeldt, bid;
General Construction 19, 071.13
Re-inforced floor in apparatus room 475.00
" John H. Niewoehner, bid;
Two pipe system for heating also plumbing $1, 793.25
If hot water system is desired instead of 2 pibe 205.75 addition

On motion all bids thrown out, account of being above the esti-
mate, and the Clerk instructed to re-advertise for bids on one
contract including plumbing, heating plant & electric wiring:
