City of Richmond, Indiana,
Thursday June 10th, 1926.
The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in
regular session at the office of said Board Thursday June 10th,
1926, at 9 o 'clock A. M. All the members of said Board Messrs, Land,
McFail and- Henley being present. The following proceddings were
had, to-wit:-
The following reserves were ordered paid under Improvement Resolutions
named as follows, to-wit :-
Improvement Resolution No. 756-1925, D. G. Burkhardt amount 108.75
Improvement Resolution No.759-1925,J. F. Hipskind, amount-- 5.0
Improvement Resolution No.763-1925 Z.B.Pyle Co. , amount--- 107.78
The Clerk reported complaints received from Council, which were dis-
posed of as follows: Sidewalk north side of N."E" Street, clerk to
notify Railroad Co. , to- repair. Light in alley at old engine house
referred to Fire Chief & Sup8t Hess. Removal of drinking fountain
N.7th Street at School House, Street Commissioner directed to have
same removed. Pole in rear of 829 South 7th Street, referred to B.C.
Hess as to ownership.
The Board approved the contract & bond of D. G. Burkhardt contractor
under Improvement Resolution No. g03-1926.
The Board approved the contract & bond of N. M. Morton, contractor
under Improvement Resolution No. 804-1926.
permission was granted Harry K. Shute to cut the curb east side of
South 23rd Street Lot 7 Reeveston View, Addition.
Permission was granted Edward R. Berheide to exten sidewalk to curb
in South 5th Street at Lot No. 54-North 2.
The Street Commissioner was instructed to repair South 5th Street
under supervision of city engineer.
The Clerk was directed to advertise for 750 gallon triple combination
Pumping engine chemical hose wagon motor driven, bids July 1, 1926.
The Clerk was directed to advertise for bids for painting houses at
West Main & llth Street at Detention Hospital.
Claims in amount of $2769.02 were allowed.
The Board then adjourned,
