Monday June 7th, 1926.
The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the office of said Board Monday June 7th,
1926, at 9 o °clock A. M. All the members of said Board, Messrs,
Land, McFall and Henley being present. The following proceedings
were had, to-wit :
The Engineer reported the completion of contract under Improvement
Resolution No. 791-1926, for cement curb, gutter and sidewalks on
both sides of North "B" Street, from 12th to 15th Street, the same
was accepted and primary assessment roll approved.

The Board approved primary assessment roll under Improvement Resol-
ution No. 794-1926.
The Board approved primary assessment roll under Improvements Reso-
lution No. 796-1926.
The Clerk as directed to advertise for bids for removal of garbage
from Crematory.
J. H. Pohlmeyer was granted permission to dig into South 6th Street
below South "E" Street, for tapping water mains and extending same
to 4 houses being constructed by him, upon making the necessary
deposit to have street placed back in proper condition.
. The Board received.bids under Improvement Resolution No. 799-1926,
for improvement of South 15th Street, by cement curb & gutter re-
pairing sidewalks, where needed, planting of trees and paving the
roadway with surface treated macadam, from South "E" to "G" Street
as follows, to-wit : V
" W. L. Magaw, bid;
Street complete without walks or trees $9. 65 per lin-ft.
Cement sidewalks where needed 0.25 " sq-ft.
Furnishing and planting trees $5.00 each
" J. L. Teegarden, bid;
Street complete without walks or trees--- $9. 60 per lin-ft .
Cement sidewalks where needed 0.25 " sq-foot
Furnishing and planting trees 5.00 each
On account of amount of sidewalk repairs needed, the Board
consider the bid of W. L. Magaw the lowest, contraot so awarded.
The Board received bids under Improvement Resolution No. 800-1926,
for improvement of South 14th Street, by cement curb,-- gutter, re-
pairing. walk where needed planting of trees on both sides & paving
the roadway with surface treated macadam, from South 0E" to "G" St.
as follows, to-wit :

The bid of J. L. Teegarden being the lowest and within the
estimate of engineer, the contract was so awarded.

The Board received bids under Improvement Resolution No. 804-1926,
For construction of sewer in territory between Linden Avenue and
P.C.C.& St.L. R.R. running from present sewer in alley south of
Linden Avenue and west of Hunt Street in rear- of Lot No. 28, A. P.
Griffiths, Addition; thence in a northwestwardly direction to the
alley south of Linden Avenue in rear of Lot 14, ,Knollenberg & Kem-
pers, Addition; thence west in alley to Northwest 5th Street, as
follows, to-wit :-

The bid of M. M. Brown being the lowest and being within the es-
timate of City Civil Engineer, the contract was awarded to said
M. M, Brown.
The Clerk was directed to correspond with Mr. Myers of the
Indiana Inspection Bureau of Underwriters, and ascertain if pos-
sible the difference of credits between 300 - 500 - 750 gallon fire
pumplmg engines, in matter of fire insurance.
Claims in amount of $7970.43 were allowed.
