The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in
regular session at the office of said Board Thursday April -22nd
1926, at 9 o�-cllck A. M. All the members .of- said Board, Messrs,
and, McFall and Henley being present . The following proceedings
were had, to-wit :-

The Board approved the contract & bonds of Z. B. Pyle & Company
1/ - contractors under Improvement Resolutions No . 7S-1- & 76 -1920.
The Board met to hear all persons interested in, or whose property
is affected by the Improvement Southwest " C" Street , by construct-
ing cement curb, gutter & sidewalks on. both sides, and grading and
paving the roadway with surface treated macadam, from Southwest 1rth
Street to College Avenue. After hearing all persons, interested who
appeared. The Board decide that the benefits to the property liable
to be- assessed for Chid improveiients are equal to the cost of same
and thereupon confirm said Improvement Resolution No , 797-1926,
without modification.
The Board mot to hear all persons interested or whose property is
affected under Improvement Resolution- No. 79 -1926, for the impr oye-
ment of Ridge Street , by constructing cement curb & gutter and pav-
ing- the roadway with one of the modern city pavements. - to-wit :
Brick, Concrete, Sheet Asphalt or Rock Asphalt, from State to

Street. After hearing all persons interested who appeared and care
. fully considering a remonstrance -filed against said improvement . Thel

found that a majority of the resident free holders had signed the
remonstrance, the Board can proceed no further unless authorized by
the Common Council by ordinance passed by 2/3 vote and approval of
the Mayor. The Board directed the Clerk to prepare an ordinance for
