The Board. of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the office of said Board Monday April 19th 1926, at 9 o ' clI.ck A. M. All the members of said Board 'Messrs, Land, McFail and Henley being present . The Following proceedings were had-, to-wit :- . Division on the south, which was referred to the City Engineer for investigation and report,. Thereceived letter from G.J .Dero,yshire Su� tt . C.& C.R.R.1 Board r �, , � �.•. �e l. in reply to request for protection at railroad crossings at South " Nn & "0" Street , referred to Common Council. The Board approved. contracts & bonds of Daniel G. Burkhardt . con- tractor under Improvement Resolutions No t s. 793-794--795 & 796-1926. Bids under Improvement Resolution _?o. 704-192 6, for sewer in alley between South 8th & 9th Street, from "L" to limit Street were re- ceived as follows, to-wit : - " Z. B. Pyle & Co. , bid; Sewer complete - - -- ''3 . 29 per linear foot " John F. _-+ipskind, bid; Sewer complete tiP3. 9 per linear foot . The bid of Z.B.Pyle Co. , being the lowest and within the es- timate, contract was so awarded. Bids under Improvement Resolution No. . 785-1926, for sewer between South 6th St . and Garden Ave. from 1st alley south of South"E" St . to C.& C. R.R. were received as follows, to-wit :- " Z. B. Pyle & Co. , bid; ,, Sewer complete ;�3 . 6S�� per linear foot . " John F. Hipsk_ind., bid; • Sewer complete $3. 78 per linear foot . The bid. of Z.B,Pvle & Co. being the lowest & within the es- timate, the contract was so awarded. The Board approved a plat of 16 town lots, No. from 1 to 16 inc. to be known as John Benhbms. Add. lying between East Havne Ave. .� 1 r,. c, n ld 1- S�i;�.l9th S:, . ��est Main St . & ationa1 Road. The Board- approved{a plat of 7 town lots, to be know. as Knoll-- • aood,Addition, laid out by L.S. & V.Mi.11er,, l'ring north of 'flest Me, in and east of Northwest 6th Street. The Clerk 7, as directed to serve notice on A. C.TJnderh� ill, to re- pair sidewalk in North 19th Street, were out of grade, by may 15, 1926.
