M. All the members of. said Board, Messrs, Land, McF+ail and Henley being present . The following pro- ceedings were had, to-wit :- The various matters referred to Board from Council meeting were taken up and discussed, the matter of C.& 0. Railroad crossingsI/ requesting protection at South "N" St . & South "0" Street , re- ferred to Sup ' t . of road; the matter of purchase of Wayne Works Foundry building, for housing of -Street Department equipment, taken under advisement for investigation; the matter of gravel company in South 5th Street, Clerk directed to request Mr. Levi Peacock to appear before the Board in an effort to eliminate the cause of complaint . • The Board granted permission to H. J . Duning, to cut the curb for driveway at NW. corner Southwest 7th & "A" Street, '. The Board signed resolution anmorov ed by the Common Council in . matter of improvement of South 23rd Street under 3-mile law from South "E" Street to -Wwrnle Road. Lewis Treep was granted permission to duip off:als from] privy vaults i n west end of 10th Street dump, provided:t•resazrie, i s immediately covered and no .compl2ints are -rec6ived-_-'a aix . said dumping. Mr. Hazlet was granted permission to remove the top soil from north side of School Street at Crosshall Street . • Upon payment of .$3 .•00 The Board granted permission to Loyd Hamp- ton to Garden the city' s ground on Newmans Hill. for 1926. The Board unanimously adopted Improvement Resolution No.799-1926 for improvement of South 15th Street, by constructing cement curb gutter,planting trees were needed, paving the roadway with surface treated macadam and repairing cement sidewalks where needed, from South "E" to "G" Street . The Board unanimously adopted Improvement Resolution No. 800--1926 • for improvement of South 14th Street,by cement e b, gutter,pla_Zt- ing trees, paving roadway with surface treated macadam & repair- ing cement sidewalks were needed, from South "E" to "G" Street.
