The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, '
met in regular session at the office of said Board Thursday
April 1st, 1926, at 9 o 'clock A. M. All the -members,- of said
Board, Messrs, Land, Mcl'ai 1 and Henley, being present the
following proceedings were had, to-wit :-

Pursuant to advertisement, The Board received-bidsielectrically •
operated °Ad_ding Ma.chineU for use in offices of City Controller,
Treasurer &. Clerk as follows, to-wit :- •
" Adding -MachineBurra?gis Co. , Detroit Michigan.n.
Style 3217 Burroughs Adding Machine, electrically operated
for the sum of $365,00
Allowance for old style 124 elec. op.B.M:achin_e 25.00
Net price 634-0.00
Less 2% discount if paid within 10 days .
The above bid being the only One received, ' contract was
awarded to said Burroughs Adding Machine Co. ,
The Clerk was directed to refer the matter of .incandecent
lights on George Street, to Sup 't . , Light Plant for investi-
• • gation and report, as to advisability of placing such lights
on George Street and National Road & George Street, the lines
being already placed at this point . •
- The Board approved payrolls up to April let, 1926.
