The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the office of said Board Monday March 22nd, 1926, at 9 o e ollck A. M. All the members of said . Board being present, Messrs, Land, McFall and Henley. The -following proceedings were had, to-wit : In matter of request of John Emery, for Fire Hydrant at cor- ner of Southwest 1st & "D" Street , the Board decide that as there is a fire hydrant at Southwest , lst & "C" Street ; also, one at Southwest 2nd & "D" Street , there is no necessity for additional hydrant at this time. In matter of complaints as to condition of Greenwood Avenue; . also, South 5th Street in Bealview, as registered by Earl Stinson, Mail carrier, the Street Commissioner reports that . he is working on said streets, and if weather permits will - have them in a passable condition. _ In matter of complaint as to condition of alley between Ross _ & Boyer Street & John & Sherman Street; the Board decides as this is an unmade alley, it was up to the property holders to either petition for cementing of same, or to take care of it themselves by placing cinders therein. - A petition was received for the improvement of Southwest "C" Street, from Southwest -l-th Street to College Avenue, by ce- ment sidewalks, curb, gutters and paving the roadway, which was referred to Engineering Department for investigation and report as to cost to City. • • The Board then adjourned, • PI2s :; . of Board Attest : iee/,� Clerk of Board • • •
