The Board of Public Works of the City of Ricmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the office of said Board Monday February, 22nd, 1926, at 9 o'cllck A. M. Messrs, Land and McFall being present, Absent, Mr. Henley, Two members of said Board.being present. The following proceedings were had, to-wit: I/ The Board met to hear. remonstrance if any, of persons interested in matter of condemnation of. right-of-way for sewer between South 6th Street and Garden Avenue, from 1st alley south o South "E" Street, to the C. & 0. Railroad right-of-way, under ., eclaratory Resolution No. 195-192.6. A remonstrance having been filed against . said condemnation, the Board overrules the same and confirm the • resolution and order a list prepared of all holders of property benefited Mich list shall also describe the property injurious- ly affected, and referred the matter fo the City Attorney as to the legal, rights of the Board & remonstrators in the matter. The Board approved a primary assessment roll of benefits and damag- es under Declaratory Resolution No. 193-1926, for the vacation of South 7th Street, from South "M" to "N" Street. In matter of improvement under Improvement Resolution No.. 782-1926, for sanitary. sewer in alley 1st west of South 9th Street, from South "H" to "L" Street . the Board fix the, assessment for property directly benefited at 22¢ per square foot , and fix the property . lying between South "L" & north side 'of South "P" Street jpexifii in-directly benefitted in sum of $$0.00692 per sq-foot, and order assessment roll prepared accordingly. The Board unanimously adopted Improvement Resolution No.793-1926 for construction of cement roadway in alley between South 7th & 8th Street, from South "G" to "H" Street. . ;. The Board unanimously adopted Improvement Resolution No. 794-1926 for cement roadway in alley between South llth & 12th Street, from 1st alley south of Main Street to South "A" Street. The Board unanimously adopted Improvement Resolution No. 795-1926 for cement roadway in alley between South 9th & 10th Street, from South "E" to "F" Street. The Sup 't. , of Parks was directed to dispose of the animals at Glen Miller with the exception of the Bear & Monkeys. The Board declare an emergency, and instruct the Street Commissioner to purchase street grader in sum of $475.00. 7/ The Board then adjourned, Attest : Prest. Bo,a(' ard City Clerk
