Thursday February 1Sth,1926.
The' Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met
in regular session in the office of said Board Thursday February
18th, 1926, at .9 o 'cllck A.M. Messrs, McFall and Henley being
present. Absent, Mr. Land, two members of said Board being pres-
ant. The following proceedings were had, to-wit :
The Board issued contractors certificate to W. L. Magaw contract-
or under Improvement Resolution Nots. 765-766-767-1925, in the
sum of $714.00.
The Board received bids for furnishing and applying on city streets
20 000 gallons more or less of Tar TM. as folliws, to-wit :
" hayes Construction Co. , bid;
To furnish _ apply Tar ' 0.15 0 per gallon
" The Stone Construction Co. , bid;
To furnish & apply ar -- $0.15-0 per gallon
The -bid of the Hayes Construction Co. , being the lowest, on
recommendation of the CityvEngineer, contract was so awarded.
The Board granted permission to Fry & Pohlmeyer, to dig into
South !'.E" Street , for tapping water main between South 14th &
15th Streets, . taxpiamingxygap -$xaffi m kx.,fxba,okiifillingceta.;
by depositing with the City the sum of money necessary to place
the street -back- in proper condition, as may be estimated by the _
City Civil Engineer.
The Board approved the various payrolls to February 16th, 1926.
