The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond , •Indi ana, met
in regular •session at the offi ce of said Board Thursday •December
24th , 1925, at 9 o` clock A. M. All the members of said. Board ,
Messrs , Land , McFail and Henley being present . The following pro-
c e edi ngs were had , to -wit : - .
Upon the recommendation of Chas. Lyons Street Commissioner, the

Board awarded the contract for furnishing One ton truck, to "W.E.
MCWhinney Company" , for One ton Ford Truck, equiped with Himico
Transmission with auxiliary low speed gear , ins"talled One open,
• steel cab with mirror installed , one water pump installed, two
32 1: 6 Pneumatic tires & tubes , one Hub-o-meter installed, One
Anthony Preesed Steel Low Rocker Dump Body wi th stiff leg , in-
stalled , truck to be worm drive & 22. 5 Horse Power , at the price
named in • the ir bid. therefore Dec. 17-1925--- -- -- ----C $922.00 delvd.
Upon the recommendation of Fire Chief & Building Inspe ctc , the
Board awarded the contract for furnishing doors for No. 3 Hose -
house to ,Miller-Kemper Company at priced named in their bid sub-
mitted therefore Dec . 17-1925 , $65.00 pair, glazed not primed.
The Clerk was directed to notify Charles Johanrning, that they
would refer hi.s request as to installing Oil Tank for oil burn-
ers under the sidewalk to the incoming council , also to refer
. said matter to Ordinance Committee with recommendation that they
present ordinance prohibiting said tanks under sidewalks.
Claims in amount of $l3 , 619. 96 were allowed.

The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond , Indiana,
met in regular session at the office of said Board Monday
December 28th , 1925 , at 9 o` clock A. M. All the members of said
Board. Messrs , hand , It:cFail and Henley being present. The fol-
lowing proceedings were had , to-wit : -The Board_ met to hear.remonstrance s of persons primarily asses •

sed for benefits under Declaratory Resolution No. 191-1925 ,
for the vacation of South llth Street , .from South "J" Street
south to the proposed opening of South "L" Street; Also, for
vacation of .alley west of said South llth Street and the alley
east of said South- lithStreet , from South "J" Street south. to
the proposed opening of South "L" Street. After hearing all per-
sons interested who appeared (no one appearing or remonstrating )
the Board acproves a final assessment roll , confirming in all
things , the original assessment roll as heretofore approved , and
now order said assessment roll of benefits E; damages transmitted
forthwith to .the Department of Finance , and declare said part of
said street and alleys above described vacated.
