The Board of uublic 'Works of the. City of r:ichmond , Ind"ana„
met in regular session at the offide of said Board Thursday
November 19th , 1925, at 9 o clock A. M. with Messrs-, Land- and
Henley being: present ; absent , Mr. 1. Two members oyf sai d
Board being present . The following proceedings were had, to-wit :
A petiti on was presented for a sanitary s.ev,er to benefit the
property between south 6th Street and. Garden Avenue , from South
"B" Street south. the same was- referred to Engineering Department
for securing right -of-way and survey and retort to the Board .
The fire Engineer reported thatpersons in the neighborhood of
the new fire station north of railroad desired and offered to
plant Lombardy Poplars ( tre es�1.1 in the grounds of said fire station
without any expense to the City , if proper uermi sion is given .
The fire Chief was instructed to gram.; permission to plant said
trees so the same can be accomplished this fall .
Complaints of councilman Benn at last. meeti n^ of council 'and re-
ferred to the Board werecreceived , and referred -to troter depart -
me nt.s
Claims in amount of y;i13 ,0"0..15 were allowed E ordered pai d.

The Board approved primary as roll under Improvement heso-
luti on No'. 773-1925, for improvement of all ey between Main & Kinsey
from lot •to 2nd Street , (Cement ro adv. ay )
The Board approved primary asessment roll under Improvement -ieso-
lu+ ion No. 775-1925, for improvement of Southwest let Street, corn-
plete street , from Kati anal -Road to Southwest "D" Stre et.

The Board directed the •-,tre et Comei ssioner to make and place signs
on North 10th 'street north of la.i lroac. , warning auromobilists to
drive carefully on account of children going to and from school.
The Board referred the matter of employees working at L.L. L.& P.P.
as to their liability in paying inco:he tax , as the revenue Collect-
or has requested a report from the Sup' t . , of plant as to amounts
paid said ei plcyees.
Claims in amount of N3400.09 were allowed &, ordered paid.
The Board approved the various payrolls to ovember 16 , 1925.
