in regular sessi on at the office of said Board Monday November
' 16th , 1925 , at 9' oT clock A. Li. All, the members of said Board ,
Messrs , Land , licFail and Henley being present . The following pro-
ceedings were had. , to -wit : - -
The Clerk was directed to write G. J.Derbyshire Sup' t . , of 0 .& 0.ly.
requesting a conference together with his. engineer. Monday November
' '23, 1925, 'in matters of importance to both the city & railroad.
The Board approved a primary assessment roll of benefits d_ damages
i_n matter of vacating alley between North 22nd & 23rd Street , from
North "v" Street north , under Declaratory resolution No. 192-1925.
The- Board approved primary asces.sment roll under Improvement Res o-
luti on No". 773-1925, for impr aye merit of all ey between Main & Kinsey
from lot to 2nd Street , (Cement roadway )
The Board approved primary as< eosment roll under Improvement -ieso-
lu : ion No. 775-1925, for improvement of Southwest 1st Street, com-
plete street , from Nati onal Road to - Southwest "B" Stre et.
The Board approved a primary assessment roll under Improvement "eao-
lution No. 777-1925, for cont tructing cement curb & gutter both sides
of South Gth otpee t,. from South.-. "L" to "J" Street.The Board approve 1 a primary assessment roll under Improvement i,eso-
lution No. 779-1925, for construction of cement sidewalks both sides
of South GtR Street , from South "H" to "J" Street.
The Board directed the c4tre et Comri ssioner to make and place signs
on North 10th Street north of rai lroad , warning automebilists to
drive carefully on account of ch ildren going to and from school.
The Board referred the matter of emT;loyees working �.t M.L. L.& P.P.
as to their liability in paying incotie tax ,. as the revenue Collect-
or has requested a report from the Sup' t. , of plant as to ,amounts
paid said employees.
Claims in amount of 3400.09 were allowed & ordered paid.
The Board approved the various payrolls to November 16 , 1925.
The Board then adjourned,

Thursday November 19th , 19 25.
The Board of uublic `works of the, City of Ilichmo , Indiana ,
met in regular session at the offi de of said Board Thursday
November 19th, 1925, at 9 o' clock A. M. with Messrs-, Land and
Henley being present ; absent , Mr. McJ ai1. Two .members of sai d
Board being present . The following proceedings were had, to-wit :
A petiti on was presented for a sanitary sewer to benefit the
property between. South 6th Street and. Carden Avenue , from ::ouch
"E" street south. the same was- referred to Engineering Department
for securing right -of--way arid survey and report to the Board .
The i'ire Engineer reported thatpersons in the neighborhood of
the new fire station north of railroad desired and offered to
plant Lombardy Poplars ( trees.' in the grounds of said fire station
without any expense to the City , if proper permission is given .
The Fire Chief was instructed to grant permission to plant said
trees so the same can be accomplished this fall.
Complaints of councilman Benn at last meeti rig of counci 1 and re-
ferred to the Board werecreceived , and referred -to proper depart -
ne n t s
Claims in amount of % 13 ,070..15 were allowed & ordered pai d.
The Board then adjourned ,
