Monday November F nd , 1925.
The Board of Public Works of the City of hichmond , Indiana , met
in regular session at the office of said Board Monday November
2nd , 1925,, All the members of said Board. Messrs ,' Land , Mae ]. and
Henley being present . The following proceedings were had , to -wit :
The Board received communication from The Hayes Construction Co. ,
. .:•/
contractors , fissuring the board that they will re--plant the trees
•in heeveston Streets , as provided for in their contract .
The Board received communication from The Andrews Asphalt Paving
• Co. , of Hamilton, Ohio. in answer to the complaint made by the
Board , which was ordered placed on file .
A petition was presented requesting water main in South 5th Street
from South "N" to "Q" Stre et , which was refer red • to nichmond City
Water Works .

The Clerk was directed to correspond with Kennedy & Sons, of Hush-
ville , Indiana , asking them to come to il.ichmond , and give the
Boarder figure on re-building wooden covered bridges.
The Board arx.-roved the various payrolls to November 1st, 1925.

Thursday November 5th , 1925.
The Board of Public Works . of the City of Richmond , Indiana,
met in regular session at the office of said Board Thursday .
November grid , 1925, at 9 o' clock A. M. All the members Messrs,
Land , McFall and . Henley being present the following pr.o eedings
were had, to-wit : -

The Board met to hear all persons interested, or whose property
is affected under Declaratory Resolution No. 191-1925, for the
. vacation of' South llth Street., from South "J" to proposed open-
. ing of south• "L" Street ; also vacating the alley east. of South
llth Street , .and the all ey west of South llth Street , -from South
-"J" Street to proposed" South "L" Stre et. No • one appearing or
remonstrating against said vacations . The Board being fullIr ad-
vised in the .premises , confirm the said resolution and order
. a list . or roll prepared of all property holders beneficially
affected which list or roll shall also describe the property
• injuriously affected.
The •Board met to hear all persons. primarily assessed under. Im-
pr ovement Resolution No. 753-1925, . for the improvement • of South
20th Street, by constructing cement sidewalks , curb & gutter
paving the roadway with bituminous macadam and the furnishing
and planting of trees- from Reevestor_ Road to South "E" Stre et.
No one appearing or remonstrating, the Board unanimously ap-
proved a final assessment roll confi cuing the original assess-
ment roll heretofore . approved, and now direct the same be forth-
with transmitted to the Department of Finance .
The Board met to hear all persons primarily assessed under Im-
provement Resolution No. 754,-1925, for the improvement of South
19th Street, by constru.eting cement sidewalks, curb & gutter
paving the roadway with bituminous macadam and the furnishing
and planting of trees, from heeveston road to South "E" Street
No one appearing or remonstrating , the Board unanimously ap-
proved a. final assessment roll confirming the original assess-
ment roll heretofore approved, and now direct the same be forth-
with transmitted to the Department of Finance . •

The Board ordered an arc light on North 3rd Street, between
Main and North "A" Street.
The Clerk was directed to notify the Standard Oil Company to
repair the sidewalk in front of their property on. the- north
• side of North "F" Street, in front o.f their property.

The Board then adjourned,
