City of Richmond , Indiana,
Monday October 19th, 1925.
. The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond , Indiana, met
in regular session at the office of said Boar. Monday October 19th
1925, at 9 o' clock A. M. All the members of said Board Messrs , Land,
MdFail and Henley being present . The following proceedings were
had, to-wit : -
-I/ The Board authorized one contract & bond for improveients under
No. 764-765-766 & 767-1925, for planting of trees in Reeveston Ste. ,
W. L. Magaw contractor.
Permission was granted R. B. Nicholson to cut the curb in neeveston
Road at South 19th Street. -
Permission was granted R.R.Holzapfel , to cut the curb at 104 South-
west 5th Street.
-Richmond Light , Heat & Power Co. , were granted permission to move
inlet to sewer in alley east of their property at plant , they to
furnish the labor city to furnish inlet grate and supervise the work.
The Board receive bids for construction of Comfort Station ±agek$a
at Market house , as follows ,. to-wit :-
" Arthur Tomas bid, ,
material & labor for building 0725.00
" Chas. E. W. Wagner, bid ;
Material & Labor for building 0747.00
" E. W. Bendfeldt , bid;
Material & Labor for building 0790.00
All bid referred to Building Inspector, for investigation & report
The Board received bids for necessary plumbing at comfort station
to be erected at Market House , as follows , to-wit :
" Wm. H. Meerhoff, bid ; -
All material , labor and sewerage 0608 .95
" Chas. A. Tangeman, bid ;
All material, labor, etc . , 0615.00
" C. H. Strebe Plumbing Co. , bid ;
All material , labor, etc . , --- 0664.05
All bids submitted according to plans & . specifications , and re-
ferred to Building Inspector for• investigation & report.
The Board approved payrolls up to October 16th, 1925.
The Board then adjourned ,

Thursday October 22nd , 1925.
The Board of Public Works of the City of iii chmond , Indiana, met
in regular session at the office of said Board Thursday October
22nd , 1925, at 9 o' clock A. M. Messrs , McF'ail and Henley present ,
Mr . Land , absent . 1'wo members of said Board being present. The
follows ng proceedings were had , to-wit : -
The Board awarded the contract for comfort station building to
be erected on Market douse lot to Arthur Thomas at price_ named
in his "bid 0725.00 , submitted Oct . 19 , 192 5.
The Board awarded the contract for plumbing at comfort station
to be erected on Market House lot , to Wm. H. Meerhoff, subject
to proposed changes in sewer and water lines , at price named in
his bid 0608.95, with a reduction in price of 029.00, on account
of above proposed changes in sewer and water line--4579 .95.
The Board ordered extension of water main in South "N" Street,
from South 5th to 7th Street, and ordered fire hydrant placed
at South 5th & "N" Streets .
In the matter of requests for additional street & alley lights
from Councilmen Benn, -±1ahlsing & White , the same were referred
to Sup' t . , of Light Plant for investigation & report .
Claims in amount of 417 , 580. 67 were allowed.
