The Board of Public orks of the City of htichmond , Indiana, met in regular session at the office of said Board Monday riutnust 24th , 19"I , at 9 o' clock A.M. All the members of said Board Iressrs , Land , McFail and Henley being present. The following proceedings were had, to-wit : -- The Board aro prove d the contract & bond. of Z. B. Pyle and Company contractors under Improvement Resolution No. 779-1925 9 for the constructinn of cement sidewalks on both sides of South 6th St. _ from South "ii" to Street ri petition for fire hydrant at corner of South 18th ,n„-, 'TB" Streets was received .and referred. to "ire Chief for investigation and ✓eport . The City- -attorney, presented agreements and deeds in matter of ground to be conveyed to the City , by Louis Morel, Mary 't';el1er E: Chas. Cart • - ✓ight & wife , for real estate along the toj, of hill for future opening of boulevard along top of bluff south of NatiNational Road. These agreements were referred to City Engineer for signatures of the owners . The matter of erecti n'' i Ertl at nem fire station was referred to the j'ayor u: City Attorney . The Board received notice from. the _Public Service Commiss.don of Indi ana, that Sep. 5rd , 1925 9 A.M. was the date and time set far hearing of petition of Bred C. H. All the members of z•a.id Board Messrs., Land , MoFai 1 and Henley being present . The following proceedings were • had , to-wit . The Sup' t . -of iI.L. L.& P.P. w.as directed to place ardditional arc light on Doran Bridge , also , to investigate as to removing the arc South P - -- light from 23rd Street w heeveston ��oaa as requested by resi- dents in that territory . �i petiti on signed by Frank Schei bier et-al, roonesting the Board to cause the removal of Hi chmon Gravel Co. , plant at 720 South 5th St. claiming the same is dangerous and a nuisance , referred to the City Attorney for investigation. The Board accepted dedications and conveyances of the following strip of ground from the persons named as follows , to it : - Ci1as .• L. Stokes , a corner of lots 8 & 9 being on the corner of South 6th & "hrr Streets , (ld. Vv. corner) Bernadina & L1i.Labeth Imhoff, a corner of Lot 8 , being the northeast corner- of South 6th D: "n" Streets . Herman 1,2. Steins, . a corner of Lot 11, being on the southeast corner of South 6th & "H" Streets . B. Pyle and Company, bid ; Cement walk also intersections0. T4 9/10 sq-ft . • In case trees has to be removed--- ----------- each tree " Daniel C. Burkhardt , bid ; Cement sidewalk & intersections 0. 27 sq-foot.
