The Board of yublic corks of the City of Llichmond, Ifidi aria, met in
regular session at the office of said Board Thursday ugust -20th,
1925 , at 9 o' clock A. M. All the members of said Board Hess-rs , i-z nd ,
McFai 1 and Henley being present . The following proceedings were
had , to- Tit : -
rThe Sup' t . of T .L.L.& F.P. was directed to place additional arc
light on Doran Bri dge , also , to investigate as to removing the arc
light from South 23rd Street & heeveston hoad as requested by resi-
dents in that territory.
petiti on signed by Frank Scheibler et-al, recuesting the Board to
cause the removal of iii chmon Gravel Co. , plant at 720 South 5th St.
claiming the same is dangerous and a nuisance , referred to the City
Attorney for investigation.
The Board accepted dedications and conveyances of the following strip
of ground from the persons named as follows , to-wit : -
Chas .- D. Stokes , a corner of lots 8 & 9 bei ng on the corner of South
6th °: "1T" Streets , (N. vv. corner)
Bernadina g L1i-nabeth Imhoff, a corner of Lot 8 , being the northeast
corner- of South 6th 2: "H" Streets .
Herman H;. Steins, • a corner of Lot 11, being on the Southeast corner
of South 6th & "H" Streets
2ursuant to continuance , , the Board met to hear remonstrances , if any
of persons assessed and damages awarded under Declaratory nesoluti on
Jo. 181-132 5, for the open ins of a 40ft . roadway to be known as Lucky
Lr?ve . after ti'i ecA'ing the plat of h. 1:'_-Mc rgan, the 3o8rd continued
hearing on said as c e!=ent roll unti 1 September 28 , 1925, until S.K.
Morgan can have the plat ready for -acceptance and recordi n.a.
The Board granted permissi on to aiilfred Jessup to cut hole in the
curd') at 115 North 13th 'street, to place drainage for roof of building
at this point.
The Board received bids for the improvement of Louth v t1 c
t 'LGt : by
constructing cement sidewalk on both sides thereof, from Louth "h"
to "J" Street, under Improvement i:esolution No. 779-1925, as follows :
" Z. 3. Pyle and Company, bid ;
Cement walk also intersections- -- ---- ;�0. 24 9/10 sq-ft .
• In case trees has to be removed-- -- 25.00 each tree
" Daniel G. Burkhardt , bid ;
Cement sidewalk & intersections "' 0.27 sq-foot.
Taking down trees- 25.00 each tree
The bid of Z.B.2yle E: Company being the lowest & within the esti-
mate of City --fi'.i-Ci.eer, the contract was so awarded .

opening of boulevard along top of bluff south of Nati onal
These agreements were referred to City Engineer for signatures
of the owners .

The matter of erecting sign at na'r fire station s.s referred to
the ayor & City Attorney .
The Board received notice from the Public Service Conrt Eel on of
Indi -ana, that e1:. 5rd , 1925, 9 'A.M. was the date and time set
for hearing of petit' on of Fred C. Phillips of Lynn, Indi and., for
a certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity to o-oerate motor
vehicles as a common carrier , Lynn to Richl odd ,
