The digester project consists of the installation of a 500,000 gallon pre-stressed concrete tank (65’ diameter x 22’ tall), three(3) 75-hp blowers in canopied building, diffused air
array (piping and membrane diffusers in bottom of tank), waste sludge pump, transfer sludge pump, miscellaneous valves, piping, etc.
The project will allow for the treatment (and reduction) of biosolids from the wastewater treatment process. The project will significantly reduce biosolids management costs for the
City.
