Monday July 6th , 1925.
The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in
regular session at the office of said Board Monday July 6th , 1925 ,
at 9 o' clock A. M. All the members of said Board Messrs, Land,
McFall and Henley being present. The following proceedings were had,
to-wit: - - -

• The Board met to • he ar all persons interested or whose property is
affected under Improvement resolution No. 777-1925 , for the improve-
ment of South 6th Street , by constructing cement curb & gutter on
both sides thereof, from South "E" to "J" Street. After hearing all
. persons interested who appeared, and carefully considering a remon-
stnce filed signed by Herman E. Stein & 2 other resident property
owners , remonstrating against the improvement from South "H" to "J"
Street , there being approximately 20 resident owners residing along
-the line of the improvement , the Board overrules the same , and now
• decide that the benefits to the property liable to •be assessed for
the cost of said improvements are equal to the cost of same as re-
-ported by the City Civil Engineer, and thereupon take final action
on -said resolution, the same being confirmed without modification.
The Board granted permission to D. R. Funk to cut the curb on Fort
Wayne Ave. at Dot 102-Official Map, City , for driveway.
The Board granted permission to Rodefeldt Mfg . Co. , to take down the
railing on north side of Main Street bridge in front of their build-
ing, work to be done under the supervision of the City Civil Engin-
eer, all at the expense of said Rodefeldt Mfg . Co. ,
- The Board received noti ce from Public Service Commissi on of Indiana ,
• that the hearing on application of 41alter E.' Bond, . to operate a bus
-line from Economy, to Richmond , had been set for July 13, 1925.
A petition for construction of cement sidewalks on both sides of
South 6th Street , from South "H" to "J" Street , was received and
plans & resolution ordered.
A report of The Travelers Insurance Co. , reporting the boiler in City
-Building to be in good order and in a safe operating condition for a
Maximum pressure not in excess of 151bs. per sq-inch. ,
- The City Civil Engineer reported the completion . of contract under
Improvement Resolution No.769-1925 , for cement roadway in alley be-
tween Main & Southwest "A" Street,- from Southwest 7th to 8th Street.
Claims, in amount of '47426 .93 were allowed & ordered paid.
