Monday May 4th , 1925.
The Board of Public Works of the_ City of Richmond , Indiana, met in
regular session at the office of said Board Monday May 4th, 1925 ,at
9 o' clock A.M. All the members of said Board Messrs,, Land, Mcai l &
Henley being present. The following proceedings were had, to-wit : -
The Clerk vas directed to notify the Western Oil Refining Company
that the work on the street, sidewalk, curb & gutter at their filling
station at corner of North 7th & "A" Street, has been done by the
City, without any expense to J. M. Wampler or the Western Oil Refin-
ing Co. ,and recuesting them to instruct the Trustee to deliver the
Deed to the 71-ft. strip of ground on the North "A" Street side, as
per agreement, may 5th,. 1924.
The Board adopted the following notice as of date of May 1, 1925,
and order the City Controllerto make publication thereof, viz :,
Notice of payment of Light Plant Bonds, 1921-6%-bonds City of Rich-
mond, Indiana, On November 1st, 1925.
To the owners and holders of.. 1921-6% Bonds., City of Richmond, Indiana
(Being the entire issue. of :Municipal Electric Light & Power Plant
Bonds ) :
You and each of you, and all persons doncerned, are hereby
notified , that the City of Richmond , Indiana, rill pay to the Second
National Bank of the City of Richmond, Indiana, on November lst,1925
for the us.e and benefit of the owner or owners of said bonds, Two
Hundred Fifty-seven Thousand (0257 ,000.00) Dollars , or so much there-
of as may be due and outstanding at said time , to pay and retire all
the said 1921-6%Bonds., City of Richmond , Indiana, designated and num-
bered from 1, to 257 , both inclusive, together with accrued interest -
- thereon to November 1st, 1925;
And you are further notified that said City of Richmond, Indiana,
hereby designates all of the said bonds remaining unpaid on November
1st , , 1925, from Number 1, consecutively to Number 257 , both inclusive
for payment as aforesaid to the said Bank, and thereafter no interest
will be paid on 'any of the said bonds or indebtedness evidenced there
• . by; all of which is done in accordance with .the terms of the said
bonds and in the exercise of the option reserved tothe City of Rich
mond, Indiana, at the time of the issue and sale of the said bonds.

The Board approved the bond. of C .H. Strebe P.lumbligg Company, con-
tractor for installing Heating System in New Fire Station.
The Board authorize an appropriation of w1500.00 for lighting system
in South 19th & 20th Sts, from Reeveston•Rd. to South"E" Street. ;
The Board order electric light placed at North 18t#- & "H" Street,
The Board direct 'the Light Plant to pay the premiums on penal bonds
of employees of plant . The Board direct the Clerk to request N.H.
Johnson of Richmond Light Heat &NPower Co. , to appear before the Boar
Thursday A.M. and explain why he charges consumers for tapping mains.
The Board then adjourned,
