Thursday April 16th, 1925.
The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond , Indiana, met
in regular session at the office of said .Board Thursday April 16th
1925, at 9 o' clock A. M. All the members of said Board Messrs ,
Land , McFall and Henley being present . The following proceedings
were had , to -wit : -

The Board received a Deed for a strip of land. 6 feet wide, on the
north side of North "E" Street , extending from the east line of
North ±9th Street to the west line of North 10th Street a distanee
of 276 feet , from The P.. C .. C. .& &c. St.L. Railroad Company, for
widening of North "E" Street at said railroads company -station.
The same was accepted and clerk directed to have same recorded inn
the office of Recorder of 'Wayne County, Indiana. The Board. also,
received from said company, the ordinance and agreement ratified
by the Board & Common Council November 17th , 1924 .
The City littorney was directed to prepare a bill for non-parking
ordinance on North "E" Street at P.C .C .&o St,L.R.R.Co. Station.
The Richmond City Water Works were directed to extend and lay a
10" water main on Northwest 3rd Street, from Main to Kinsey St ;
thence west in Kinsey Street and connect with 10" main in North-s
west 5th Street .
The School Board was granted permission to barricade the sidewalk
on east side of South 22nd Street properly protected, from South
"B" Street north. - ..
The Board directed the Finance Department to, pay the balance of,
money retained and due issenbarger & Jessup, on contracts under
the following Improvement Resolutions , to -wit : -
No. 611-1923 , Alley bet. S. . 20th & 21st,from S. "A" north=--$31 .29
No. 669-1923, Northwest 8th St. Peacock Road to Richmond Ave50.00
No. 692.-1923, Alley bet . North 13th & 14th , "C" to "D" St. 68. 73
The Board approved claims in amount of $5632:15 & ordered same paid.
The Board approved the various payrolls to April 16 , 1925.•
