The Board of Public GVores of the City of Richmond , Indiana , met.
in regular .sessi on at the office . of said- Board Monday March 16th,
1925, at 9 o'.clock A.M. OA following members of said. Board being
present . Messrs, Land and Henley, Absent , Mr. McFall. Two members
of said Board being present . The following prcceedifgs were had ,

Pursuant to continuance to this date ; The Board . met to hear all
,:
persons interested in or whose property is aff ected under Improve-
- ment Resolution No. 761 -1925, for improvement of the alley between
South 14th & 15th Street, by cement roadway from South "D" to "E"
Street. The City Civil Engineer reported that there are 29 resident
property *owners resi ding along' said improvement ; 17 of whom have
signed the remonstrance agai nst same . this being. a ma j ority. The
• Board on motion rescind said resolution. ..
In matter of Improvement Resolution No. 749 -1924 , for the improvement
of alley between SW.4th & 5t1, Street , by cement roadway, from .SW. "D
Street to .north termthnal of said alley ; thence •east to S47.4th Street
•wht-ch was confirmed by said Board. on March 5th, 1925, a remonstrance
signed by 6 resident owners having been filed 'within the ten day
period ; .The Engineer reported there are 13 resident property owners
residing along -the line of said. improvement , 6 of whom have signed
a remonstrance against said imnrovemer:t ; The Board take final action
on said resolution, obifi. d..ng(==their action taken on March 5th., 1925.

The Clerk reported that the Public service Commission of Indiana ,
had .approved the joint petition of the City of Richmond- 1.4.E.L.& P.P.
and. Liberty Light & Power Company; in mate of purchase o.f certain
electric lines & egtu pmen.t in Cause No. 7946 (See pe ti.ti on) in newly
annexed territory to the south of ci ty , in sum of 5p3575 .00 copy of
order & petition ordered filed. .
The Board approved the bond in penal sum of $14 ,000.0n , efgned by
E.W.Bendfeldt Contractor for new fi re station as princi pal, and
United .States. Fidelity. & Guaranty Co., as sureti es. .
Claims in amount of 5'367 .28 were allotred; and the Board approved
__ the various payrolls up to March 16th. , 1925. V
