M. Ail the membe rs of a aid Board. Messrs, Land, McFai l and Henley being present . The fo 11 owi ng proce edings were had , to-wit : - The Clerk reported he had made an error in repor ti ng the day of hearing under Improvement Re n No. 764 , 765 , 766 & 767-1925 for planting of trees and seeding lawn spaces in Reevest:on Road, South 18th , 19th and 21st Streets , the date should have been March 9th instead of March 5th , "The Board. reopen the natter and met to hear all persons interested or whose property is affected, afte r hearing all persons interested who appeared., the Board on motion confirm said resolutions by modifying the same , to. strike out the words se edi ng lawn spaces. The Board. met to hear all person, interested or whose property is affected under Improvement Resolution No. 758 -1925, for the improve - ment of Richmond Ave . by paving the roadway with one of the follow- ing kinds of ci L ' pavements , to-wit : Reinforced Concre to , Sheet Asphalt ; Rock_ Asphalt or Bituminous Macadam , from Northwest 5th • Street to Sedgwick Street . After hearing all persons inte rested who appear dd, the Board being, fully advised in the matter. take action on said resolution, The Board decide that the benefits to • the property liable to be assessed for said, improvements are equal to the cost of same as reported by the City Civil Engineer, and thereupon confirm the resolution without modification. The Board met to hear all persons intere sted or whose property is affected by Improvement Resolution No. 761-1925, for the improve- rrent of the all ey he re en South lath & 15th Stre et, by construct- ing a cement roadway from South "D" to "E" Street, a remonstrance having been filed agai nst s aid improvement, the Board_ continue hearing on said resolution to Monday March 16th , 1925. The Board met to hear all persons intere steel in, or whose property is affected by Improvement Resolution No. 768-1925, for improvement • of North 14th Street , by constructing cement sid ewalks on both sides thereof, from North "F" to "J" Street. After hearing all persons interested who appeared, .•the Board decide that the benefits to the property liable to be assessed for said improvements are equal to the ' cost of same as reported by the City Civi 1 Engineer and there- upon take fi nal action on said resolution, the same bei rig confi rm- ed without modi-fi cation. • The Board met to hear remonstrance s and take final. actio n on Declar- atory Resolution No. 184 -1925, to open an all ey abutting. Lots 1-3- 4-5-6-7-8-9-10-11-12-13-14-49-50 Wrightland Additio n and. a part of Tract 586, Offi.cial Map, of Richmond , the same being a private alley 1st north of Peaco ck 'Road and running from West 5th Street to alley bete•een West 6th & 7th Street . A remonstrance having been filed against said opening, after carefully considering the same also to the objections offered by property owne rs and their. attorn- . ey Ray Shiv eley:, the Board overrule said remonstrance , on the ground that as the alley is now a pri vat all ey and the city has no juris- t ' - dic ti on on same , The Board now order that a list or roll 'be pr epared. • • Monday March 9th , 1925. 197 of all owners or holders of property , and of valuable interests therein, sought to be taken or to 'be injuriously affected , which list or ro 11 shall also descri be the prop erty benefi-ci ally affected. And thereupon the Board confirm without modification all former action on said resolution. • The. Board unanimously adcp tod Improvement Resoluti en No. 770-1925, II for the improvement of Boyer Street; by constructing cement side- walks , curb & gutters on 'both side's & grading and paving the road- way with gravel & ma.cadam , from School to Stevens Street. The Board- directed D. C . Hess, Sup` t. , of M.L.L.& P.P. to present agreement and bi 11 of sale in sum of 5 70 .00 to the Public Servi ce . Commission for th eir arprovaI_ in mat'rer of taking over the lines of the Liberty Light & Power Co. , 'in the newly annexed terri tory to the ci ty of Richmond , Indiana. . The Chief of Fire Department E.E.Miller, recommend ed that the ci ty take over the fire hydrants at ,National Automatic Tool Co. , Auto- moti ve Gear• ;forks and on South 9th Street in newly annexed terri- tory to the ci ty. The Construction of E. W. Ben_df_eldt contractor for new fire station was referred to City Attorney for app roval.
