Thursday February 19th , 1925.
The , Board of Publ is Works of the City of Richmond , India.na, met
in regular session at the office of said Board , Thursday February
19th , 1925, at 9 0' clock A. M. All the membe rs: of said Board ,
Messrs , Land , McFall and. Henley being present. The fo 11owing pro-
ceedings were had , to -wit : - -

The- Board held a conference with property owners abutting the alley
betw een State & Williams Street , from Boyer to NW. 2nd Stre et, in

matter of wid.en ing the all ey between the points name d, upon a vote
taken of the 9 property. owners present , it was decided to start
proceedings to wid.en the all ey , the gro and to be taken from rear
of property abutting Williams Street.
The Board met to hear all persons intere sted or whose property is
affected by the improvement of South 19th Street, by constructing
cement sidewalks, curb , gutter and paving the r oadway, with one of
tie following kinds of pavements, Sheet Asphalt ; Bituminous Macadam;
Reinforced Concrete or Rock Asphalt ; also planting of trees and
seeding lawn spaces, from Reeve ston Road to South "E" Stre et, as
provided under Improvement Resolution No. 75 - -1925. No one remon-
strating against said improvements, the Board being duly advised in
the premises, decides that the procpuffxily benefits to property liable
to be assessed for said improvements are equal to the cost as re-
ported by the City Civil Engineer,, and thereupon take final action
on said resolution, the same bei ng confirmed without modi ficati on.
The Board met to hear all persons interested or whose property is
affected by the improvement of South 20th Street , by cons tructi ng
cement sidewalks, curb , gutter and paving the roadway with ei ther
Sheet Asphalt ;Bituminous Macadam ;Reinfro ce d C oncre to or Rock Asphalt ;
al so , planting trees & seeding lawn spaces, from Reeveston Road to
South "E" Street, as provided under Improvement Resolution No.753-
' 1925. After hearing all persons interested who appeared and being
duly advised in the premises. The Board decide that the benefits to
property liable to be assessed for said improvements are equal to
the cost of same as reported by the City Civil Engineer, thereupon
take final action on said resolution. The same being confirmed with-
out modi fi ca ti o n,

The Board met to ,hear all persons interested or whose property is

of the following pavements ; Sheet Asphalt ; Bituminous Concrete; Rock
Asphalt or Bituminous Maca dam ; also planti ng trees & seeding lawn
spaces, from Southwest 1st to 2nd Stre et, as provided under Improve-
ment Resolution No. 760 -1925. After hearing all persons interested
who appeared, all the property owners favoring the improvement . The
Board continued action on same to Monday February 23, for further
inf ormati.ark, regarding the ci ty ' s cost of improvement .
Dr. Timmerman, was granted permission to tap sewer in South 19th St.
near reeve ston Road , up on payment of 20.00 , and si.gi.ning agreement
to pay for future sewers to 'be constructbd in terri tory .

The Board loan to Mr. levy , bucket for catch basin also forms •
owned by the City , to take Da tte rn therefrom.
The Board entered into agre en-En t with Spri ng Grove , Indi an. ,
agreeing that the City Fire Depart ment will respond to all
_ alarms of fi.re\coming from Spring Grove or Terri tory known as
• District No. 10, they having depo sited the stipulated sum of
ti EC) .00 wi th the City Controller, to cover the minimum pri ce
fixed for first call or 1st hour for one company. The said.
Spri ng Grove , agreeing to mai ntain at all ti ne s the sum of
5�50 .00 on deposit with the City Controller, J;o insure the
good faith of said Spri ng Grove , Indiana.
The Board then ad journed,
