Monday February 9th, 1925.
The Board of Public Works of the City of iichmond, Indiana, met
in regular session at the office of said Board, Monday February
9th, 1925 , at 9 o' clock A. M. All the members of said Board Messrs ,
Land, McFail and Henley being present. The following proceedings
were had, to-wit : -
The Street Commissioner Chas. Lyons, was given authority to enter
into agreement with Mr. J. L. Teegarden, for the use of steam shovel
belonging to said Teegarden, for excavating of roads being made
in Gleh Miller Park.
The Board order the Richmond City Water Works , to install Fire., Hy-
drant in Ctosshall Street.; Also, South "B" & 2oth Streets.
The Board directed the Clerk to advertise for bids for Non-return
valves for use of the Municipal Electric Lighting & Power Plant.
The Clerk was directed to prepare resolution and present the same
at next council meeting requesting the Judge of Wayne County Cir-
cuit Court to appoint 3 appraisers to appraise 4 Non-return 6"
valves of the Municipal Electric Lighting & Power Plant, with a
view to selling the same . ( Obselete )
The Clerk was directed to notify the Richmond Home Telephone Co. ,
to mope telephone pole at entrance to Glen Miller Park just east
of North 22nd Street . V
Upon the recommendation of Sup' t. , Hess, the Municipal Electric
Lighting & Power Plant, was directed to pay out of their general
fund the sum of 25,000.CO, into the- said plants Sinking Fund.
The Board received communications from the C .& G. Ry. Co. , The
Municipal Traffic Post Co. , and Sup' t. of Public Schools, in an-
swer to various matters & complaints referred to them.
