The Board of Publ is Works of the City of Richmond , Indiana, met
in regular session at the. office of said Board Thursday January
22nd , 1925; at 9 of clock A. M. The fo llowing membe rs of said
. Board being present , Messrs , McFail and Henley, Absent , Mr. Land.
Two members of said Board being present . The following proceedings
were had , to-wit
The Board directed the Finance Department to pay to Z. B. . Pyle Co.
contractors, the sum of $277.94 of the $302 .94 reserve retained
under Improvement Resolution No. 679-1923, for the construction
of cement sid ewalks on both sides of North "A" Street, except
- where already laid and in good condition, from North 7th to 16th
Street, holding y 25.00 in reserve until farther orders .
Complaints referred to Board from Council, relating to condition
of. new Asphalt roadway const rooted in North 19th and North 20th
- Streets , the report being that the streets seem to be in bad con-
- di ti on, 13y cracking and picking, taken under advI sement unti 1
weather permits proper investigation.
Mr. Ray K. Shiveley appeared before the Board regarding the con-
' di ti on of stand erect ed on west side of property at corner of
Main and South 9th Streets, Mr. Shiveley requested the• Board to
ho ld off awhi le in the matte r and he would see what could be
done .
The Board then adjourned,
