Monday December 29 th ,1924.
The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond , Indiana , met in
regular session at the office of said Board Monday December 29th ,
1924, at 9 o' clock A. M. All the members of said Board Messrs, Land ,
McFall and Henley being present . The following proceedings were had,
to-wit :-
The Board direct the Finance Department to pay to E. M. Curtis,
contractor under Improvement Resolution No. 646-1922, the amount
of $329 .61 , being the amount retained for the impr ovement of North
13th Street, by constructing cement sidewalk, curb , gutter and
graveled roadway, from North "H" to "J"' Street, also , directed the
Finance Department to colle ct from E. M. Curtis, the amount of
$48 .50 , due the city for work done on said street .
The Board directed the Finance Department to pay John F. Hipskind
contractor under Improvement Resolution No. 663-1923, for relief
sewer in Northwest 5th Street, from Pearl Street to Richmond Ave. ,
the amount of $340.80 being the amount retained on said work.
Claims to the amount of •;34, 613 . 57 were allowed & ordered paid.
The Board then adj ourned to att end the funeral services of Raymond
Kelley, son of City Attorney Wm. Kelley at St. Mary' s Catholic
Ciurch.
Thursday Jan. 1st , being New Mears Lay, Board adjourned to Jan . 5,
1925.
