Monday December 22nd, 1924.
The B oa rd of Publ is Works of the . City of Richmond , Indiana, met
in regular session at the offi ce of said Board Monday December
22nd , 1924, at 9 o' clock. A. M. All the membe rs of said Board
Messrs , Land , McFall and Henley being present . The following
pro ce edi ngs w ere had , to -wit : -Permission was granted the Standard Oil Co. , to change curb
gasoline pump at the Auto Inn, on south side of Main Street
between 12th & 13th Street.
Permission was granted to John & Milton Atkinson, to continue to
rent the property condemned and taken by the City for Park Purposes
on south side of Richmond Avenue , the rent to be from month to
month , and the property to 'be vac ate d upon thirty days notice
• from the City, and Clerk directed to notify the said. Atkinsons
of this order .
The Board approved a primary assessment roll under Improvement
.Resolution No. 737-1924, for aanitary Sewer running from alley at
vacated Howard Street, between Southwest- 1st & 2nd Street to the
private all ey between Southwest 2nd & 3rd Street; thence south
100 feet and north to the 1st alley south of West Main Street.
The Board met to hear remonstrances if any, of persons primarily
assessed as benefits under Declaratory Resolution No. 180-1924,
to va cate the alley between Northwest 6th & 7th Stre et, from Peacock
Road to a point 134.98 feet south . No remonstrance having been
filed the Board approved a final assessment roll of benefits as
heretofore approved, and noW direct the same be transmitted forth-
with to the Department of Finance , and now declare said portion
of said alley vacated.
The Sup' t of Police was directed to order 25 bases for No Parking
Signs, from the Safety Traffic Signal Co , of Crawffzlsville , Ind .
at price of 3. 95 each.
Er. Hess, reported that a Mrs Simpson on east Main Street was com-
plaining of the M.r. L.& P. P. light line ru nni.ng across her ground
at 1920 Main Street , upon the advice of City Attorney Kelley, Mr.
Hess was instructed to:aeave the line as it is unless enjoined by
Court action.

Claims in amount of 011 ,041. .07 were a lli ow ed and ordered paid.
Next regular meeti ng day of the Board being on Christmas day on
motion the Board adj ourned until Monday December 29 , 1924.
