Monday December 15th , 1924.
The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond , Indiana, met
in regular session, at- the office of said Board Monday December
15th , 1924, at 9 o' clock A. M. All the members of said Board being
present , Messrs , Land, McFail and Henley. The following proceedings
were had , to-wit : - - -
The Board received le tter of thanks from Osro Blose Trustee of
Franklin Township, for servi ce s rendered by the City s Fire Depart-
ment in ttrhitewater Indiana, School.
The Board award contract with the McWhinney Co. , for a Ford. Roadster
for use of the Building Inspector, at the price of $387.00 , to be
paid in January out of the apprropriati.on made therefore.
Upon the recommendation of Mr. Hess, Sup`t of M.E.L. & P. P. the
Street Commissioner Chas. Lyons , was directed to attend convention
or show given at Indianapolis , Indiana , this week, to investigate
and report on the various portable air compressors shown, expenses
of said trip to be paid out of Light Plant funds.

The Stre et C ommissi oner was directed to remove the old gas post
from the corner of .Main and South 6th Street .
_ Buildi ng Inspector E. Riggs and Fire Chief Miller, recommend that
a stove be purchased for the No. 5 Hose House.
Claims in amount of $6389.42 were allowed and ordered paid.
