The Board • of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, -met in regular session at the-office of said Board. Thursday November • 13th , 1924, at 9 o' clock A. H. Messrs,. McFall and Henley being • present . Mr. Land Absent Two members of said Board being present the following proceedings were had � •to --wit :- Pursuant to postponement .to this- date . The Board met to hear remon- .:::r strances if any,' of persona primarily assessed on account of the widening of -the alley bet seen_ South lath & 17th Street , from South "A". :Street to the first alley south of Main Street, under Declara- tory Resolution. No. 178-1924. No one appearing or remonstrating & the Board- being duly advised in the premises. The Board approved a - final assessment roll of benefits & damages as heretofore approved and dir ect the same be transmitted for thwith to the ;Department of Finance , and said. alley 'is hereby decd ar ed widened as ;yet out in said Declaratory Resolutio n No. 178-1924. The Board approved primary assessment roll under the following _ resolutions, named, • to-wit : -- . _ Improvement Resolution No. 720-1924, For the improvement of NW.6th Street in Seclgwick Place , by constructing cement sidewalks., C.& G. and paving r oadiv ay with Bituminous -macadam . . Improvement i esoluti_on No. 721-192.4. For the improvement of. South 21_st Street, by paving 'roadw ay Sri.th Bituminous -macadam , from reeves- • ton Road. to •South "E" Street. Improvement Resolution No. 74 -1924. For the -improve 2improvement of Ratliff Street, by constructing cement sidewalks. , curb & gutters and paving roadway with gravel & macadam , from School- to Stevens. Street. Improvement Resolution No. 747 -1924. For improvemeit of North 16th Street by constructing cemet sidewalk on west side , from N. "F" St to River Bank also east side from North "J" to River Bank. The Board approved the dedication of a 15ft. alley in rear of Lots 3-4-5 and north side. of Lot 2, in the Holzapfel 1-1.dditien, to City running from Northwest 7th Street east • to alley running north & soutl between Northwest 6th & 7th Street, dedicated by Harry E. & Richard R. Holzapfel and. Lewis C. Niewoehner. The Board: unanimously adopted Declaratory Resolution No. 180-1924 to vacate a part of the alley bete een Northwest 6th & 7th Street from Peacock Road to a point 134.9E ft. south of Pea co ck Road. • The Board unanimously accepted the Type 75 Pumping Engine as de- livered. by the American-ZaFrance Fire Engine Company, Inc. , as per their bid on same received July 21st , 1924. . The Clerk was• directed to request S.K.Morgan to meet with them on Monday next at their meeting (Subject _plat of ground .pt .City) .
